HYANNIS - More people respect social distancing measures, and that increasingly large group now includes criminals.  Martha Stoughton says that when she was mugged just the other day, "he kept several feet away and used a face mask, a clear sign that he acknowledged we are in the midst of a pandemic."

And it's not just a passing phase. We are on the brink of real change. "He even asked for my Venmo tag so we didn't have to exchange physical currency," Martha said. She doesn't have Venmo, so she just handed him her wallet. "I lost my job and my health insurance, but I am so thankful that people are finally respecting the danger we face as senior citizens. The last thing I want is to put myself or my family at risk."
